With the new year upon us, we have come up with some new ideas in order to better meet the needs of our sisters in this ward. We have women of many different backgrounds, with many different needs. Relief Society presidencies all over the world have been asked to set up "groups" within their wards in order to provide activities that would best serve our sisters.
In the Burton Ward, we don't want to burden our sisters with too many activities, but we do want to provide some fun outlets for you in order to build unity, strengthen one another, and be uplifted. Here are our group options:
S.I.S.ter DaySelf Improvement Saturdays - a time where we will learn a new skill, try something new, or work on a project of our own. With so many sisters available who have things they can teach us, we'll never run out of things to learn!1st Saturday of each month10:00 a.m. - NoonAbby Welker's home (subject to change occasionally)
